Here’s another transcription of a sweet and tender violin and piano duet. It’s Ravel Variation, played by Esther Abrami and Iyad Sughayer. Based off of Ravel’s Pavane pour une infante défunte, M. 19, this piece captures the beautiful opening melody of Ravel’s famous piano piece in a very unique and beautiful way.

Like all transcriptions, this should only be used as a guide to accompany the audio recording. Pedaling, phrasing, slurs, and dynamics were all purposely left out. Your ear is the ultimate guide, and should be what makes these important decisions.
